The knotless mesh

KIM - Knotless Incontinence Mesh

Specially designed for women with stress urinary incontinence.

KIM is a knotless mesh designed for the treatment of urinary incontinence, intended to promote proper tissue integration within the tissue.

The absence of knots allows for a 100% macroporous mesh, with a lower three-dimensional profile and reduced roughness.

It is a tension-free, macrorigid and microelastic mesh that provides effective and stable long-term support.

What is a tension-free mesh?

A tension-free mesh is placed under the urethra to limit its descent and prevent urine leakage. The tension of the mesh is defined by the tension applied in the operating room plus the fibrosis that will form as it integrates into the tissue.

  • No post-surgical tension adjustment.

Indicated for the treatment of SUI grades I and II (mild and moderate). TOT and TVT approaches.

Advantages of KIM for the surgeon

  • Lower risk of infection and erosion.
  • Maintains its shape without losing mechanical properties; it does not elongate.
  • Adapts to the tissue.
  • Shape memory: even if deformed, it returns to its original form.
